You may configure PMDF so that an address of the form
user@ccmail-domain-namespecifies the subscriber
user associated with a
specific cc:Mail post office. For instance, if the cc:Mail post office
is named ACME, you may configure PMDF so that an address of the form
"John Smith"@ccmail.acme.com (in%"'John
Smith'@ccmail.acme.com") in VMS MAIL will map to the cc:Mail
subscriber John Smith or equivalently Smith,
John associated with the ACME post office.
Now, an address of the form
user%post-office@ccmail-domain-namemaps to the cc:Mail subscriber
user associated
with the post office post-office You may
configure PMDF such that the address
user@ccmail-other-domain-nameis automatically converted to
user%post-office@ccmail-domain-name
For example, the address "John Smith%rpo"@ccmail.acme.com
(in%"'John Smith%rpo'@ccmail.acme.com") in VMS MAIL would
be converted to John Smith AT rpo, and vice versa.
See Section 38.5.3.2 for an example.
