Print PMDF version number.

Syntax

pmdf version

PARAMETERS

None.

DESCRIPTION

pmdf version prints out the PMDF version number, and displays the system's name, operating system release number and version, and hardware type.

EXAMPLES

% pmdf version
PMDF version is PMDF V6.0-20 
libpmdf.so version V6.0-20; linked 21:59:56, Jan 24 2000 
SunOS roadrnnr.acme.com 5.7 Generic_106541-08 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-1

The above UNIX example shows PMDF version information for a Solaris system running PMDF V6.0-20. 

C:\> pmdf version
PMDF version is PMDF V6.0-20 
libpmdf.dll version V6.0-20; linked 09:43:12, Jan 25 2000 
Microsoft Windows NT Workstation version 4.0 Service Pack 5 (Build 1381)

The above NT example shows PMDF version information for an NT system running PMDF V6.0-20.
