On Digital UNIX, if the error message
ERROR: This application will not run successfully unless it is used on the processor(s) on which it is licensed. The licensed processor(s) is the one(s) on which the product requiring the PMDF-MTA-OSF PAK will execute. A PMDF-MTA-OSF PAK must be registered in the License Database and activated in the kernel cache before this application will run. Refer to the installation guide for the product requiring the PMDF-MTA-OSF PAK for license database PAK registration instructions.is reported in the file
/pmdf/log/job_controller.log or
when attempting to send e-mail with PMDF, then the PMDF license is not
properly loaded. Either the PMDF license PAKs need to be loaded, or the
license needs to be enabled by PMDF. First check to see if the PMDF
license is loaded by issuing the command:
# lmf list PMDF-productIf the product license is not present in the listing, then you must register the license from the PAK you received from Innosoft using the command:
# lmf registerIf the product is present in the listing but its status is not active, then you need to load the license with the command
# lmf load 0 PMDF-product
