Long ago, TGV, Incorporated had a product named MultiWare, and included a MultiWare client API in their MultiNet TCP/IP package, which allowed an OpenVMS system direct access to a NetWare file server. As TGV, Incorporated is no more, having been bought out by Cisco Systems, and then MultiNet sold to Process Software Corporation, there is now no vendor supplying or supporting the former MultiWare product. Therefore Innosoft can no longer support use of the MultiWare client API in conjunction with PMDF-LAN channels.
The MultiWare client API support code in PMDF is still present, and should still work as well as it ever has, for sites that have been using it and wish to continue doing so. But if there are problems using it, they will not be able to be resolved. New sites should use a different method, and old sites using the MultiWare client API method should plan on migrating to another method.
