Prior to performing an installation or upgrade of PMDF-TLS you should have received a PMDF-TLS license, documentation, and instructions for fetching PMDF-TLS from the Innosoft FTP site.
PMDF-TLS is a layered product built on top of PMDF, and can only be used on a licensed, configured, PMDF-MTA or PMDF-ACCESS system. If you have not yet installed and configured PMDF-MTA or PMDF-ACCESS on your intended PMDF-TLS system, see Chapters 1 , 2 , and 5 --7 .
3.2.1 Disk space required
PMDF-TLS requires approximately 5000 kilobytes of disk space.
This disk space requirement applies to the partition in which the
/pmdf/lib and /pmdf/bin directories are
located, as that is where the PMDF-TLS images will be installed. You
can use the df command to check total space and free space
for such directories.
